Bil'in Marks 7 years of Popular Struggle - Support for Khader Adnan All Over Palestine

Bil'in

After attempts of Israeli Magav (Border Police) and Yasam (Police Special Patrol Unit) to stop activists from reaching the weekly demonstrations, AAtW, coming from Tel-Aviv, have mannaged to reach Bil'in and join the weekly events. The bus from Jerusalem was stopped on the 443 road, 11 were detained and a Palestinian citizen of Israel was arrested, to be released in the evening.

This week's demonstration marks 7 years of the struggle of the Bil'in villagers against the theft and annexation of their lands. Bil'in calls for unity among Palestinian factions, and solidarity with Palestinian prisoners, jailed by occupation forces. Parnicularly Khader Adnan, who is on his 62nd day of hunger strike, in dire condition, shackled to his hospital bed.

Nabi Sale

In Nabi Saleh, the demonstration also  focused on Palestinian prisoners. The vilagers called for the release of Nabi Saleh comittee leaders, Bassem and Nagi Tammimi, and Khader Adnan.

Demonstrations in solidarity with Khader Adnan were held all over the West Bank, in Gaza City and inside Israel, in front of the Security Ministry in Tel-Aviv and the hospital in Safed, where Adnan is currently being held.
